Representative Matters

Mr. Liu Zhenghe has been working in area of employment law, social security law and union law since 2000. He provides comprehensive legal services in these areas including arbitration and litigation, human resources risk assessment and prevention, employment planning, employment due diligence and structuring in mergers and acquisitions, and other non-litigation matters. He is well recognized by clients and the legal community for his practice and academic study. His in-depth understanding of employer-employee relationship and Chinese culture and society enables him to provide sound legal advice as well as practical solutions.

His clients include multinationals, state-owned enterprises and private companies in a wide range of industries such as Communications/Electronics, Finance, Logistics, Energy, Real-estate and Lifesciences. He currently serves as the perennial employment legal adviser for Beijing Mobile, DHL, Taubman China, Hanergy, Aruba Networks, Foreign Talent Consulting Company, Xin-dong-an Property and dozens other companies and institutions in China.

Before he started his private practice, Mr Liu was a public lawyer for Beijing General Unions. He was deeply involved in lawmaking process of employment legislations and union legal affairs management. He has in-depth understanding and rich practical experience in the area of unions, employee rights protection, collective contracts, collective wage negotiations and other related matters. He is a perennial legal advisor of the Federation of Trade Unions of Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone, Daimler Investment(Great China) Union, Ping An Bank Union, Microsoft Mobile Union and NOKIA Communications Network Technology Union.

Mr Liu has rich experience in employment law training and dispute proceedings, and has represented more than 150 clients in employment arbitrations and litigationsinclude Alibaba, Beijing Mobile, DHL, CIIC, GHD, Bank of Beijing, Chiesi, Halliburton, Coloplast China, Saatchi & Saatchi, MSL, WorleyParsons, Assurant, Aruba Networks etc. He has provided employment law trainings for hundreds of enterprises organized by LexisNexis, Zhaopin, Baidu, Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone, Zhongguancun Science Park, Beijing Labor and Social Security Law Institute etc.

Mr Liu is a main contributor to LexisNexis, a global leading legal database service provider. Among other things he assisted LexisNexis to launch its product "Labor Laws in Practice" in 2014.
